Job description

What will you be doing!
 

  • Leading and overseeing daily fleet and maintenance operations to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Supervising, coaching, and supporting a diverse team including operators, drivers, trades, and lead hands.
  • Coordinating work activities, resources, and schedules to meet operational and service requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times.
  • Monitoring performance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
  • Communicating effectively with internal stakeholders to support operational priorities and resolve issues.
  • Supporting workforce planning, training, and development of team members.


What we are looking for:
 

  • Education
    • Relevant trade certification, technical diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience
    • Experience supervising or leading teams in a maintenance, fleet, or operational environment.
    • Proven experience working in safety-focused, fast-paced environments.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
    • Strong leadership and team development skills.
    • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems effectively.
    • Solid understanding of maintenance and operational processes.
  • Security Clearance Eligibility Required
    • Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's "Standard on Security Screening" and the "Policy on Government Security."


Working Conditions: 
 

  • Working schedule: Four (4) days per week, ten (10) hours per day for a forty (40) hour work week.
