Service Lot Attendant / Car Washer - Stouffville Volkswagen

Stouffville Volkswagen is the newest addition to the Zanchin Automotive Group. We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented individual to join our service team as a Service Helper / Car Washer. As an integral part of our "We Can Do That" operation, you are the first and last person our customers interact with-ensuring their vehicles are handled with care and returned sparkling clean.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will support the daily flow of the service department by:
 

• Customer Experience: Greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival with a professional and friendly attitude.
• Vehicle Preparation: Tagging vehicles and applying protective seat and steering wheel covers immediately upon arrival.
• Quality Detailing: Hand-washing customer vehicles to dealership standards.
• Lot Management: Organizing and moving vehicles to maximize parking efficiency and ensuring the service drive-thru remains clear and flowing.
• Shop Management: Moving tires to and from storage
• Facility Care: Maintaining a premium dealership appearance, including debris removal and seasonal snow clearing.

About You

You are a self-motivated "pro-active" worker who enjoys staying active and working outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
 

• Experience: 1-2 years of general labor or customer service experience (automotive interest is a huge plus!).
• Skills: Ability to confidently operate both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Requirements: A valid Driver's License and a clean Driver's Abstract are mandatory.
• Physical Capability: Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including the ability to lift and maneuver automotive components and tire sets weighing 50 lbs or more on a regular basis.
• Mindset: Strong attention to detail, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Communication: Professional verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and the service team.
