Job description
Connected Services at Honda Canada sits at the intersection of vehicle technology, customer experience, and subscription commerce - and it moves fast. We're looking for someone who brings genuine enthusiasm for emerging technology and a working understanding of subscription-based businesses or digital service platforms. Whether your background is in automotive, telecommunications, SaaS, or another connected services environment, what matters is that you can keep complex programs on track and work effectively across functions. This is a hands-on role where you'll support day-to-day operations and the implementation of new connected features and services - working across Legal, IT, Sales, Training, and Finance, and playing an active role in shaping the HondaLink and AcuraLink experience that keeps Honda and Acura owners connected to their vehicles long after they leave the dealership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keep Connected Services programs running day-to-day - managing reporting, tracking the budget, coordinating issue resolution, and supporting in-vehicle testing to ensure features and services are working as intended for Honda and Acura customers across Canada.
- Lead project coordination for new connected features and services - maintaining timelines, tracking deliverables, and keeping Legal, IT, Sales, and Finance aligned from initial approval through to launch and post-launch review.
- Review and provide feedback on HondaLink, AcuraLink, and web assets - evaluating customer-facing content and digital experiences to ensure they meet Honda Canada standards before updates or new features go live.
- Track program performance and subscription health - monitoring HondaLink and AcuraLink enrollment rates, trial activation, paid subscriber trends, and feature usage, and surfacing issues or opportunities that require action.
- Support revenue modelling and business cases - building and maintaining financial simulations that help the team and leadership understand the impact of packaging changes, new service offers, and shifts in the connected services competitive landscape.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive developments - tracking how other automakers, telecom providers, and digital platforms are evolving their connected offerings, and translating findings into practical inputs for Honda Canada's connected services strategy.
- All other duties as assigned by manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, or Information Technology - or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in the automotive industry, a technology company, or a digital services environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with comfort using AI tools to support research, reporting, and the development of business materials.
- Familiarity with connected vehicle technologies, mobile applications, telematics, or subscription-based service platforms is an asset.
- Ability to influence and present effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Builds and maintains strong working relationships across the Connected Services team and broader Honda Canada organization - including Legal, IT, Sales, Finance, and Customer Relations.
- Engages effectively with American Honda and Honda Motor counterparts, understanding that many connected services decisions are made at the North American or global level and require active collaboration to land well in Canada.
- Brings a team-first mindset - shares information openly, contributes to a collaborative working environment, and keeps the right people informed as programs evolve.
