Position Summary

The Chief Isaac Mechanical Automotive Technician Apprentice is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to customers.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid checks)
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Repair or replace faulty components such as brakes, engines, transmissions, and suspension systems
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and identify potential safety concerns
  • Test drive vehicles to confirm repairs and ensure proper operation
  • Maintain accurate repair records and documentation
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair needs
  • Follow safety standards and company procedures at all times


Qualifications
 

  • High school diploma or GED (Automotive Technology certification preferred)
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
  • Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and repair tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Valid driver's license (clean driving record preferred)
  • ASE certification (preferred but not always required)
