Estimator

We are looking for a motivated and meticulous auto repair Estimator to join our team. You will play a key role in assessing damage, preparing estimates, and optimizing the profitability of repairs, while ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze damage reports and estimate repair costs;
- Prepare estimates in accordance with company and insurer standards;
- Plan and coordinate repair work with the production and parts teams;
- Identify opportunities for additional sales during vehicle inspections;
- Optimize estimates while considering margins and profitability;
- Follow up on cases to maximize the conversion rate;
- Work closely with the customer service team to ensure thorough follow-up;
- Monitor repair progress to meet delivery deadlines;
- Close cases and track job performance;
- Perform any related tasks associated with the position.

Qualifications:

- Experience in auto estimating or auto body repairs (or a related field);
- Good knowledge of insurance companies and the repair industry (an asset);
- Proficiency in Mitchell Cloud Estimating (MCE) and Audatex (a strong asset);
- Leadership, independence, and a sense of responsibility;
- Excellent communication skills and a team player;
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills;
- Valid driver’s licence.
