We are currently expanding and looking to add Maintenance Data Analyst motivated individual to our team based out of our Brampton office.
Responsibilities
- Install and affix asset tracking tags on trucks and trailers across our fleet, following standardized placement and documentation procedures
- Conduct regular field visits to yards, shop facilities, and terminals to deploy, inspect, and update tags
- Collect, log, and validate data captured from tagged assets - including maintenance events, mileage, inspection records, and equipment status
- Maintain accurate records of tagged assets in fleet management systems and internal databases
- Partner with the maintenance and shop repair teams to ensure data integrity and flag discrepancies or missing records
- Support reporting and dashboards by ensuring tag data is clean, complete, and up-to-date
- Assist in identifying trends in equipment wear, repair frequency, and downtime based on collected data
- Document tagging procedures and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Requirements
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a data, operations, or fleet/logistics support role
- Comfort with field work - you'll be working in shop and yard environments alongside mechanics and drivers
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with fleet or asset management software is a plus
- Valid G driver's license and ability to travel between facilities as needed
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to telematics, GPS tracking, or asset tagging systems
- Basic knowledge of truck and trailer components
- Experience with data tools such as Power BI or SQL
