Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Automotive Service Technician. This position is designed for a professional who holds or is looking to finish their requirements to achieve their Red Seal Endorsement (RSE).

Whether you are a seasoned Journeyperson or a top-tier apprentice in the final stages of your hours and exam preparation, we provide a high-volume, professional environment where national standards are the baseline. You will be responsible for complex diagnostics and repairs while upholding the Red Seal Occupational Standard (RSOS).
Core Responsibilities

Advanced Diagnostics: Lead the troubleshooting of complex faults in engine management, integrated electronics, and CAN bus network communications.

System Mastery: Perform precision overhauls on internal combustion engines, transmissions, and drivetrain components.

Safety-Critical Repairs: Execute expert-level repairs on steering, suspension, and braking systems (ABS/ESC), ensuring every vehicle meets provincial safety standards.

Specialized Systems: Service and repair HVAC systems (compliant with environmental regulations) and advanced electrical components.

Mentorship & Progression: If already certified, provide mentorship to junior apprentices. If finishing requirements, actively engage in the final sign-off of competencies and exam preparation.

Documentation: Maintain meticulous service records and, if applicable, ensure your Apprentice Logbook reflects your final path to certification.
Qualifications & Requirements

Certification Status: Must be a Journeyperson or a Senior Apprentice currently looking to finish their requirements to achieve their Red Seal Endorsement (RSE).

Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of modern diagnostic tools and OEM service software.

Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret technical wiring diagrams and complex mechanical assemblies.

Driver's License: Valid Class 5 license with a clean abstract.

Professional Kit: Ownership of a comprehensive set of professional-grade tools.
The Red Seal Standard

We believe in the value of the Red Seal as the gold standard for Canadian trades. We offer:

Exam Support: For those finishing their requirements, we provide access to technical resources and mentorship to ensure successful completion of the Red Seal Exam.

Competitive Compensation: Wages that reflect your high level of skill and progress toward or achievement of national certification.

National Mobility: Support in achieving a credential that is recognized in every province and territory.
