Job description

The Administrative Assistant (Contract) will provide full time administrative support to the Plant Manager in a very fast-paced, highly confidential manufacturing environment. She / He will be responsible for managing phone calls, processing requisitions, ordering office supplies, event planning, and supporting other departments when required. The Administrative Assistant (Contract) will respond to all general inquires that come into the Plant Manager's office.

Other duties include, but are not limited to:
 

  • Opening and distributing incoming regular and electronic mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments and meetings for the Plant Manager
  • Ordering office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Answering telephone and electronic enquiries and relaying telephone calls and messages
  • Setting up and maintaining manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Determining and establishing office procedures
  • Greeting visitors, ascertaining nature of business, and directing visitors to the appropriate party/area
  • Recording and preparing minutes of meetings
  • Arranging travel schedules and making reservations
  • Compiling data, statistics, and other information to support Stellantis Production Way activities
  • Organizing events and conferences
  • Coordinating utilization of pool vehicles
  • Administering parking pass processes
  • Performing all other duties as assigned


This position is for an existing vacancy.

Salary range for this position is $28.00 to $35.00 per hour.

Basic Qualifications:
 

  • College diploma
  • Minimum FIVE (5) years of related experience
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
