As a Fleet Maintenance Manager, you will work closely with our Canadian and United States Operations teams to maintain our Tractor Trailer fleet operations. Your goal will be to ensure we receive the best value and efficiency possible while keeping our fleet safe and reliable to deliver excellence in customer service. Your success will be measured by developing and improving the efficiency of our fleet, reducing downtime and maintenance costs and instilling safety and compliance as a core value within the team and the organization.

Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to optimize the life cycle of the Tractor Trailer fleet
- Oversee and ensure all fleet work orders are scheduled and completed at our maintenance facility and 3rd party maintenance vendors. Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure their maintenance schedule is as planned and meets company standards
- Manage and oversee our processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies
- Present on and advise management of potential efficiencies and opportunities to improve results and drive efficiencies across our fleets
- Responsible for the procurement of all fleet assets, including tractors and trailers partnering with Supply Management
- Directs and delegates the work activities of direct reports and ensures appropriate capabilities exist within the team to effectively deliver and support our business objectives and Fleet Maintenance organization
- Be a visible safety leader and instills safety and compliance as a core value within your team and the organization
Your Skills:
- Proven ability to maintain good working relationships with stakeholders including senior leaders
- Proven ability in dealing with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong, people-focused leadership skills
- Excellent budget development and management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Your Experience:
- High School diploma and Post-secondary education in a logistics related program is required. Equivalent experience in a fleet maintenance position is also acceptable.
- 5+ years in a fleet maintenance or related position, with a preference for
2-3 years of management experience - Experience in the oil & gas industry is considered a strong asset
