Who You Are
Ground Effects is currently searching for an IT Business Systems Analystto join our Information Technologiesteam in Windsor, Ontario.
In this role, you will provide highly desired knowledge of data integration nuances with various industries to support our applications. You will provide reliable follow-up and follow-through skills working with the IT Team and vendors to provide end users with updated information and solutions expertise. You have excellent communication skills, possess a positive health and safety attitude and are passionate about continuous improvement.

The responsibilities of the IT Business Systems Analystteam member are as follows:
- Business Relationship Management, Teamwork, Work Ethic, and Responsibility:
- Provide technical solutions and work output through personal expertise that exceeds the average worker in the same technical discipline.

The ability to advise against a course of action when required in a way that conveys a client's best interests are in mind, rather than inflexibility, and to seek and find suitable alternatives to serve and provide the customer with a solution to their request
- System Implementation, Migration, Upgrades - Installation and upgrade work involving our systems:
- Troubleshooting & Support - Identify failing processes, assess available IXS system(s) health, and provide recommendations for increased efficiency.
- Project Management - Managing scope and system-wide deliverables for clients.
- System Analysis - Hardware and software requirements planning and sizing.
- Solution Design
- Impact Analysis
- Performance Tuning
- Best Practices - review and implementation of best practices.
- Communications - Understand technical concepts involving partner communication packages.
- Documentation - Create, update, and maintain documentation.
- IT Governance/ Change Control and Quality Assurance:
- Perform or coordinate quality assurance testing for all assigned work.
- Communicate key insights and findings (QA issues/ Bugs) to the project team.
- Prepare QA documentation and present changes to the Change Control Board.
- Shop Management/Point of Sale
- Process Definition, Solution Design, Configuration, and Testing.
- Facilitate the design, implementation and communication of customer-focused solutions.
- Conduct Process and Integration Mapping.
- Define configuration specifications and business analysis documentation.
- Interpret business requirements to balance the needs of Franchises and Corporate needs
- Assist with developing and implementing data integration systems, analytics, and other strategies that optimize data quality through multiple systems.
What Qualifications and Skills Do You Possess?
- Post-secondary degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology or Business Administration (Master's Degree Preferred)
- Project Management Professional or Certified Business Analysis Professional Certification
- 5-10 years in the IT field
- Experience in data integration (ETL, EAI, or MFT) mapping, development, or architecture across multiple organizations and industries.
- Previous experience in Retail, Automotive or Franchise Support
- Familiar with various API architectures including REST and SOAP.
- Experience with retail, manufacturing, finance, healthcare, automotive, transportation, and logistics industries.
- Must be familiar with various protocols, including but not limited to FTP, SFTP, AS2, and SMTP.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Writing and modifying business processes and workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and solve problems that may arise during the use of Epicor.
- Proven experience in successfully implementing Epicor ERP, demonstrating the ability to set up, configure, and optimize the software to align with business processes.
- Proficiency in creating Business Process Management Scripts (BPMS), Business Activity Queries (BAQs), and customizations within Epicor to tailor the system to specific organizational needs.
- Strong skills in designing and generating reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) within Epicor.
- Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Epicor's REST APIs to seamlessly integrate the ERP system with external applications and streamline data exchange.
- A solid grasp of manufacturing operations and financial management processes, particularly in the context of Epicor ERP, to ensure efficient and effective system usage.
- Strong proficiency in C# programming for developing custom solutions and extending the functionality of Epicor ERP.
- Advanced SQL skills for managing and querying databases, essential for data retrieval and analysis within the Epicor environment.
- API Development - Creation and modification of business processes and workflows with and without the use of process modelers in comprehensive integration suite environments.
- Technical skills for components such as BAQs, BPMs, BAMs, Trackers, Dashboards, Customizations, DMT, Administration tools, Security, Crystal Reports, and SSRS.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package for this critical role, including
- Salary Range: $74,000 to $93,000 annual Salary
