JOB DESCRIPTION **** HYBRID POSITION! ****
Reporting to the Fleet Manager, the In-House Technical Advisor (Automotive) plays a central role in the operational management of the company’s vehicle fleet.
They act as a coordinator for maintenance and repairs, as an internal resource person when mechanical issues arise, and as the person responsible for the administrative and IT tracking of vehicles.
The position requires an organized, resourceful, and solution-oriented individual capable of managing multiple requests simultaneously and effectively supporting internal teams, particularly trainers who use the vehicles in their daily activities.
The ideal candidate must also be comfortable with IT tools, particularly Excel and management systems such as Odoo, to ensure rigorous tracking of vehicles and mechanical work.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage the operational aspects of the vehicle fleet;
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with partner garages;
• Analyze and approve repair estimates;
• Schedule preventive maintenance and annual mechanical inspections;
• Serve as the internal point of contact when technical issues arise with vehicles;
• Ensure prompt and effective follow-up on urgent situations;
• Keep vehicle-related information up to date in IT systems;
• Open, track, and close work orders;
• Process supplier invoices related to repairs and maintenance;
• Contribute to the improvement and use of management tools (particularly Odoo);
• Use Excel to track fleet-related data and operations;
• Participate in the vehicle purchasing and sales process.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
• Knowledge of fleet management software;
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license;
• Knowledge of Odoo (an asset).

• Very strong organizational and administrative skills;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French (English is a plus).
