Plaza Auto Group is seeking a motivated Shop Assistant at our Bolton Kia location to join our service team. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their automotive career while delivering outstanding service and contributing to a positive customer experience.

The Apprentice Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing customer vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical aptitude, and a commitment to learning and growing as a skilled technician.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Perform Shop duties as instructed by the Service Manager
• Assist Technicians and Apprentices
• Participate actively in Health & Safety
• Communicate clearly to Service Advisors and team members
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and adhere to dealership standards
• Complete all training programs
• Support the dealership brand by providing excellent service and building customer loyalty

Skills & Qualifications:
 

• Dealership experience preferred
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
• Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks and priorities
• Valid Driver's License with a clean abstract
• Able to operate manual and automatic transmissions
• Basic computer literacy
