Your area of focus.
This role works with the Service Department in the shop and service areas, responsible for overseeing seasonal tire inventory and general shop maintenance and cleanliness. This opportunity is an ideal stepping stone to becoming and Apprentice Technician.
What drives your day-to-day?
- Pulling tires out of storage based on daily appointments, working with techs to arrange set up.
- Returning tires to storage, keeping meticulous records of whereabouts.
- Shop maintenance duties include: keeping an eye on garbage receptacles, emptying and replace bags as required, emptying waste oil buckets.
- Running customer vehicles through car wash.
- Lot cleanliness and maintenance, shoveling snow, reporting deterioration of asphalt, keeping lot free of debris.
- Assisting in wash and detail bay when required.
- Other duties as required.
What are the must-haves...
- Experience in a dealership setting is an asset.
- Customer service experience is a must, retail, hospitality or other comparable.
- Valid drivers license, clean driving record.
- Steel toe shoes a reqired for this role
- Ability to work outside in all weather.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
