Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and competent Automotive Service Advisor to join our team at our dealership. The Automotive Service Advisor will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and making sure our customers’ automotive maintenance and repair needs are fully met.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers in the service department, listen to their concerns, and assess their vehicle maintenance or repair needs.
- Schedule maintenance and repair appointments based on customer availability and service capacity.
- Advise customers on recommended services based on manufacturer guidelines and the vehicle’s specific needs.
- Coordinate service activities with technicians and other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of work.
- Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their vehicle and inform them of any additional work required.
- Handle customer complaints and issues professionally and proactively, seeking satisfactory solutions.

Requirements:

- Technical training in automotive mechanics is a plus.
- Prior experience in the automotive industry, preferably in a customer service or service advisor role.
- In-depth knowledge of vehicles and their systems, as well as the basic principles of automotive mechanics.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while being an effective team member.
- Proficiency with computer tools and automotive service management software (DMS).
