Job description

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Lot Attendant based out of our Calgary Service Centre on 10555 - 25 STREET NE CALGARY, AB T3N 0A1.

The lot attendant is responsible for moving and positioning vehicles to various designated locations between our properties for servicing, transport and/or rental. A lot attendant will perform all daily responsibilities with a focus on the needs to have vehicles ready for customers in accordance with our high-quality standards.

This position pays $19.00 / hour.

Schedule:
 

  • Friday to Tuesday 10:00am - 6:30pm


Responsibilities

 

  • Inventory & organize vehicles on the parking lot in accordance with the lot plan
  • Direct drivers on parking units in accordance with the lot plan
  • Ensure the overall security of the vehicles, lot and equipment, including monitoring gate access and key compliance
  • Check cars that are being moved into the overflow lots and service center for body damage and safety, using a handheld device
  • Complete vehicle logs each shift, showing vehicle identification number and plate number.
  • Move vehicles to different areas of the lot or facility as needed and directed by management
  • Maintain tire inventory, including disposal/recycling
  • Help maintain shop cleanliness & storage organization, including disposal of wooden pallets to make room for deliveries
  • Assist with windshield chip fills
  • Adhere to all applicable health & safety policies and procedures
  • Support the Service Center operations as directed by management
  • Work to resolve unaccounted units
  • Works independently
  • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record (DWI/DUI) within the last 5 years
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Must be able to work in various weather related conditions (i.e. heat, cold, rain, snow)
  • Must be able to withstand moderate physical activity (i.e. lifting up to 30lbs, long periods of walking and standing)
  • Apart from religious observations, must be able to work the following schedule - Friday to Tuesday 10:00am - 6:30pm


Successful candidates will also have:
