Fuel & Lube Technician

Dawson Civil is looking to hire a skilled Fuel & Lube Technician, responsible for assisting in the fueling, greasing and overall maintenance of a large fleet of heavy equipment.

In this role you will be a valued member of Dawson Civil, working in a temporary, full-time position of Fuel & Lube Technician, reporting to the Foreman. The crew will be on varying day and night shifts on a rotational schedule of 14/7. Your base location will be Princeton, BC. and will require some travel throughout our great province.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
 

• Be alert to risks or threats and work proactively to ensure safety of self and peers
• Give proper care to the operation and maintenance of the vehicles
• Must be dependable and reliable
• Must be capable of documenting and report on the status of the equipment to the Team Leader
• Fill out daily Service Reports and fueling records

WHAT YOU BRING
 

• Experience operating or maintaining heavy equipment
• Class 1 or 3 license with air brake endorsement is considered an asset
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) is preferred
• First aid experience is an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• College or industry courses in heavy equipment operating is considered an asset
