Job description
The General Manager is responsible for all dealership operations: sales (new and pre-owned), service, parts, finance, and administration. He or she acts as a motivational and strategic leader to achieve profitability, sales volume, and customer satisfaction goals!
Key responsibilities:
– Ensure that financial targets (revenue, margins, EBITDA) are met and exceeded;
– Develop and implement an annual strategic plan aligned with the group’s direction;
– Supervise department managers (sales, service, parts, F&I, administration);
– Optimize operational processes and ensure strict cost control;
– Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement action plans;
– Maintain high standards for customer experience and reputation;
– Ensure legal compliance and adherence to manufacturer standards;
– Actively participate in recruitment, engagement, and talent development.
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 7 to 10 years of management experience in the automotive industry;
– Proven experience as a General Manager or Sales Director;
– Excellent leadership, team-building, and change management skills;
– Solid understanding of financial statements and profitability drivers;
– Results-oriented with strong analytical skills;
– Strong communication and negotiation skills.
