Onsite - This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Woodstock PDC site on a full-time basis.

The Opportunity

We are looking for Temporary Part Time Warehouse Attendants to join our Woodstock Parts Distribution Center (PDC).

As an integral part of team, you will perform multiple hands-on tasks associated with automotive part warehousing functions in a standardized, structured environment. You will be part of one team of engaged, customer-centric employees delivering outstanding results who share in General Motors' purpose and values.

This position requires an employee to be on-site on a full-time basis.

Location: Woodstock, Ontario

Shifts: Primarily afternoon shift - 3:30PM - 11:40PM

Wage per hour: $30.80

Physical Demands of the Job:
 

  • The successful candidate will be required to perform the following actions:
  • Walk and/or transport automotive parts via carts.
  • Reach, move, push, pull, and/or lift automotive parts with both arms.
  • Bend and/or twist repetitively.
  • Grip and pinch with both hands and use various hand tools as well as a scanner.

  • Ability to listen to, understand and communicate instruction in English

  • A person applying for this position must be available to work up to 40 hours/week as required.
  • Candidates must be willing and able to work any and all shifts as required.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • An exemplary level of safety awareness, quality, and compliance.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures, work instructions, procedure manuals, and policies.
  • Candidates must be comfortable working at heights
