Accounting Clerk – Accounts Payable

We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at our Laval branch. The incumbent is responsible for processing invoices, vendor payments, and account reconciliation. They monitor financial records and ensure the accuracy of accounting information. They will also perform various administrative tasks related to the position.

Responsibilities:

- Record and verify vendor invoices;
- Process payments and reconcile accounts payable;
- Reconcile accounts related to warranties and returned parts (“cores”);
- Monitor and reconcile credit cards;
- Update the cash flow file;
- Complete vendor account setup requests and verify the tax compliance of new vendors;
- Ensure the archiving of sales and purchase invoices;
- Assist in preparing annual audit files;
- Perform any other related tasks associated with the position.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar position;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
- Experience with or familiarity with the CDK accounting system (an asset);
- Attention to detail and high level of precision;
- Strong ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Bilingualism (an asset).
