About the position:

The controller will be responsible for supporting the dealership's day-to-day financial management while developing their supervisory and analytical skills. This position represents an exceptional opportunity for an assistant controller or experienced Accounting Technician who wants to take their career to the next level in a professional, structured, and highly collaborative environment.

Your main responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.
- Recording sales files and accounts payable/receivable.
- Reconciling bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
- Collaborating in the management of cash flow, expenses, and financial reports.
- Period-end closing, production of internal reports, and compliance with group policies.
- Track accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Improve accounting and administrative processes.
- Work closely with the sales, service, and parts departments to ensure effective and rigorous financial management.

Required profile:

- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or administration.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to manage a team.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Strong skills with Excel and accounting software (Serti or equivalent, an asset).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Analytical mind, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Proactive attitude, professionalism, and desire to learn.
- Motivation to move into a controller position in the medium term.
