Your Role:
As an Assistant Manager/Sales Consultant, you will play a key role within the team by combining leadership with sales performance. You will act both as a brand ambassador to customers and as a support to sales operations management.
You will assist customers with the purchase of new and used vehicles while helping to mentor the team and achieve departmental goals.
Responsibilities:
Sales:
- Greet customers and identify their vehicle needs;
- Present available models, their features, and benefits;
- Conduct test drives and propose financing solutions;
- Negotiate sales terms professionally;
- Ensure thorough follow-up with customers, both before and after the sale;
- Keep your knowledge of vehicles, promotions, and technologies up to date.
Management / Executive Support:
- Assist the sales manager with daily operations;
- Support, mentor, and motivate the sales team as needed;
- Help achieve performance goals and manage priorities;
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies;
- Ensure compliance with customer service standards and internal processes;
- Collaborate closely with the finance and service departments.
Desired Profile:
- Relevant sales experience (automotive experience strongly preferred);
- Experience in team coordination or a leadership role (a significant asset);
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Motivational leadership and a results-oriented approach;
- Organizational skills, independence, and professionalism;
- Valid driver’s license.
