BDC AGENT - Business Development Specialist
CHRISTIN Automobile is a family-owned business that has been established in the eastern part of Montreal for 70 years and has operated a Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC dealership for GM Canada since 1972.

The sales team at CHRISTIN CHEVROLET BUICK GMC is looking for a BDC Business Development Agent to join our team of two Agents for one of our two shifts.
The BDC Agent will play a key role within the sales team, as they will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, text, and video conference. This representative must possess strong communication, sales, and customer service skills. Their objective will be to convert these inquiries into sales opportunities, promote business opportunities, improve customer retention, and increase customer satisfaction.
Organized, structured, and proactive, the BDC agent will be responsible for managing, following up on, and tracking various types of requests related to online automotive customers in order to assist them virtually and secure an appointment with a sales representative at the dealership.
Job summary:
• Process the dealership’s online inquiries to answer customer questions via phone, email, text, or video conference;
• Follow up with customers who visited the dealership but left without making a purchase;
• Manage and follow up with customers whose auto financing is ending;
• Manage and follow up with orphaned customers in the dealership’s lease renewal portfolio;
• Participate in various ad-hoc strategic projects related to business development.
Job requirements:
• Assist customers with their vehicle shopping by communicating with them via email, phone, text, or video conference, depending on the type of inquiry;
• Meet quality and performance standards for customer contact management and follow-up;
• Send information, follow-ups, and reminders to customers via email, phone, or SMS;
• Be receptive to individual coaching on call evaluation and customer follow-ups.
Employment requirements:
• Possess impeccable spoken and written French;
• Possess knowledge of standard computer tools for this type of work;
• Be willing to work remotely, depending on the current situation.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience in a business development center (BDC), call center, or any form of customer service.
