The position is located in the Ottawa/Gatineau area.
Our client is a well-established and highly respected company operating in the luxury automotive sector. Known for its solid reputation, premium customer experience, and commitment to operational excellence, the company is seeking a Service Director to lead its service operations and support its continued growth.
Reporting to senior management, the Service Manager will oversee the performance of the service department, ensuring strong financial results, operational efficiency, and an exceptional customer experience in line with luxury brand standards. The successful candidate will help structure and optimize service operations while developing a strong and cohesive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the service department with a focus on profitability, operational efficiency, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Manage the department’s finances, including gross profit, labor performance, absorption, ELR, CP/Warranty mix, and technician productivity.
- Establish, implement, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) in the service line, dispatching, warranty, and technician workflow.
- Monitor, interpret, and take action based on key performance indicators (KPIs) and manufacturer reports.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing and cohesive team.
- Collaborate with the Parts, Sales, and Executive Management departments to support and align the fixed operations strategy.
- Ensure full compliance with manufacturer standards, policies, and customer satisfaction (CSI) expectations.
- Perform all other related duties.

Salary: $110,000 to $140,000 per year, depending on experience
Schedule: Day shift
Status: Permanent
Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years of service management experience in the automotive industry, preferably with a luxury brand.
- Strong business acumen and ability to manage financial performance and operational KPIs.
- Experience with dealership management systems such as Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK.
- Proven management experience, with the ability to lead sales consultants, technicians, and service teams.
- Organized and process-oriented mindset.
- Ability to analyze reporting data and translate results into operational improvements.
- Professionalism, discretion, and alignment with luxury service standards.
