Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Talent Attraction Manager to lead our experienced and campus recruitment strategy and help continue to build high-performing teams across the British Columbia. This is a one year contract role.
This role is responsible for developing strong talent pipelines, building industry networks, strengthening our employer brand, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience from initial outreach through to successful hire.
The successful candidate will be a proactive talent leader who thrives on connecting with people, identifying top talent, and partnering with leaders to attract individuals who will contribute to our continued growth and success. This role plays a key part in ensuring our workforce reflects our commitment to integrity, teamwork, innovation, excellence, and giving back.
The expected pay for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 commensurate with experience.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning
• Partner with leaders to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
• Build proactive talent pipelines to support current and future workforce needs
• Provide insight into labour market trends, candidate expectations, and competitive hiring practices
Networking & Talent Pipelines
• Develop strong professional networks within the automotive and broader business community
• Actively source and engage passive candidates through networking, industry events, and digital platforms
• Maintain ongoing relationships with high-potential candidates to support future hiring needs
• Represent the organization externally to promote career opportunities and strengthen talent pipelines
Candidate Experience & Closing Talent
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation
• Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring journey
• Partner with leaders to effectively present opportunities and successfully close high-quality candidates
Employer Branding
• Contribute to the development and promotion of the organization's employer brand to attract top talent
• Partner with HR and communications teams to highlight employee stories, culture, and career opportunities across recruitment channels
• Identify opportunities to strengthen the company's reputation as an employer of choice within the automotive industry
Recruitment Operations
• Ensure consistent recruitment processes and best practices across the organization
• Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline strength, and candidate conversion rates
• Leverage recruitment technology and tools to improve efficiency and candidate engagement
Collaboration & Leadership
• Partner closely with HR leaders and hiring managers to align recruitment efforts with business priorities
• Support internal talent mobility and succession planning initiatives where applicable
• Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment strategies and talent programs
Qualifications Required
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
• 5-8 years of progressive recruitment or talent acquisition experience, including sourcing and pipeline development
• Proven ability to build networks and proactively identify top talent
• Strong experience managing full-cycle recruitment and successfully closing candidates
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
• Social Media expertise across various channels including Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook
• Expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter
• Experience working in HR4, the automotive industry or high-volume operational environments is considered an asset
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
