Reporting to the Service Manager, you will play a key role as the interface between the customer and the workshop, ensuring a smooth and professional service experience. Description of daily tasks - your responsibilities, your path to success:
- Warmly welcome customers upon their arrival and gather information about their vehicle;
- Build a relationship of trust by identifying the customer's needs and interpreting the information gathered to pass on to the technician;
- Explain the work performed and the associated costs clearly and accurately;
- Accurately record the details of the vehicle's problems on the repair order;
- Advise customers on how to care for their vehicle and the importance of regular maintenance, according to the manufacturer's recommendations;
- Inform customers about promotions and services offered by the dealership;
- Take the customer for a test drive, if necessary, to confirm the problems or refer them to a technician;
- Make appointments for maintenance services and prepare detailed cost estimates;
- Establish the method of payment and obtain credit approval if necessary;
- Work with the workshop foreman to plan the work to be done;
- Communicate any changes in maintenance to customers;
- Present yourself professionally and perform other duties as required by management.
The ideal candidate:
- Excellent ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy;
- Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written;
- Previous experience in customer service;
- Basic knowledge of the automotive industry.
