About the Job
CE Transportation is a logistic company operating throughout Ontario and Quebec. We have our own fleet comprising of Straight Trucks, Tractors and Trailers.
We are Looking for an experienced 310T Truck and Trailer Mechanic Supervisor that will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Mechanic Shop and work with mechanics to repair and maintain the 100+ equipment fleet.
Job Position and Details:
Position: 310T Truck and Trailer Mechanic Supervisor
Annual Salary: $85,000 - $100,000
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of mechanics based on the work required to be completed for the day.
- Inspect, diagnose and repair equipment with regards to the engine and all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems.
- Inspect, diagnose and repair after treatment system.
- Complete Preventable maintenance of the entire fleet as per company policy.
- Complete annual safety inspections and repairs of the entire fleet.
- Inspect, oversee and sign off on the quality of work performed by the team.
- Source and order parts from suppliers that are required for maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor and keep stock of shop inventory.
Qualifications:
The idea candidate:
- Must has a valid active 310T license.
- Must have a minimum 5 years experience working as a 310T mechanic.
- Has knowledge of Detroit, Cummins, and Hino engines and after treatment systems.
- Has experience in diagnostic of Freightliner and Hino trucks.
