Vehicle Delivery Technician

Our Nova- Scotia group has an opportunity for a Full-Time Vehicle Delivery Technician. This position pays $19 / hour and is located at our Administration Office on Sky Blvd in Enfiled, Nova Scotia.

Schedule: 
 

• Monday-Friday: 8:00AM-5PM

This position involves handling, organizing, and tagging tires, loading them into vehicles for delivery, and maintaining accurate inventory. The role includes delivering tires to local centers, supporting tire technicians when needed, coordinating with vendors, and keeping the workspace clean and orderly. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask are essential.

Responsibilities

 

• Be able to lift a load of tires between 10 lbs and 20 lbs at a time
• Load tires into cargo vans/trucks
• Organize tire warehouse/classify tires properly
• Carry out tire inventory
• Prepare a sheet (TAG) for each tire and stick it on it.
• Deliver tires to tire center in the area
• Assist the tire installer (technician), if necessary
• Work with multiple vendors for delivery and pick up of tires
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Assist management with any other assigned duties.
• Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multitask

Qualifications

 

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
• Must be authorized to work in Canada and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must be able to work in various weather related conditions (i.e. heat, cold, rain, snow)
• Must be able to withstand moderate physical activity (i.e. lifting up to 30lbs, long periods of walking and standing)
• Apart from religious observations, must be able to work the following schedule(s): Monday-Friday: 8:00AM-5PM

CAD $19.00 / Hour
