Your responsibilities, your path to success:
- Greet customers and establish a relationship of trust as quickly as possible;
- Help customers choose a vehicle by prioritizing their needs, asking questions, and listening carefully to their answers;
- Clearly explain all important information about product performance, operation, and benefits; long-term leasing and traditional purchase terms based on needs; - Know and understand the concepts of equity and residual value and be able to explain the principle of depreciation to customers; all federal, provincial, and municipal laws governing automobile sales;
- Negotiate the price and have the transaction approved by sales management;
- Deliver cars to customers after thoroughly checking the cars sold and ensuring that customers understand the operating features, warranty, and documents to be completed;
- Keep up to date with new products and accessories;
- Solicit and seek out new customers on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate:
- Extensive customer service experience with targets in the automotive field: knowledge of the competition, the market, and the vehicles for sale;
- Customer-oriented: exceptional customer service, with attention to customer needs and a proactive approach;
- Intellectual agility: quick learner with a sharp mind;
- Ambition: eager to take on challenges, focused on results and excellence, enjoys sharing ideas, even the most daring ones;
- Perseverance: does not give up easily and perseveres in the face of difficulties;
- Rigorous: highly organized, orderly, precise, and accurate;
- Good time and priority management;
- Technical skills: excellent command of French and English (written and spoken) and good computer skills;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive sales;
- Knowledge of the Office suite.
