Dealership: Honda de Laval – new and pre-owned vehicles
Job description:
The Documentalist is responsible for creating, managing, and ensuring compliance with administrative files related to the sale of new and used vehicles. This role is essential to ensuring a smooth, compliant, and professional delivery process, in collaboration with the sales, accounting, and service teams.
Main responsibilities:
- Compile complete files for each vehicle sold (new and pre-owned).
- Work closely with sales managers to ensure a smooth and efficient administrative process.
- Have the customer sign the documents for vehicle delivery.
- Verify the accuracy and compliance of all required documents (invoices, registration, certificates, warranties, inspections, etc.).
- Ensure that files are updated in the dealership's internal systems.
- Prepare the necessary documents for vehicle delivery.
- Communicate with the SAAQ, financial institutions, and insurers as needed.
- File, archive, and organize documents according to dealership and Honda Canada standards.
- Support the sales team with any administrative requests related to files.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and administrative rigor.
Required skills:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple files simultaneously.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry (an asset).
- Comfortable with computer tools and management software.
- Good customer service skills and professional communication.
- Independence, reliability, and discretion.
Requirements:
- Comfortable with computer tools.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
- Experience in administration or document management (an asset).
- Knowledge of automotive sales processes or the SAAQ (an asset).
