Job description
You are an Analyst, Fleet & Equipment and provide monitoring, reporting, forecasting, analytical and accounting support for the management and financing of equipment for the LTS Group. In this role, you will work closely with the Ledcor Equipment Group ("LEG"), Treasury, LTS Finance and provides analytical support and information to internal customers including Equipment Managers and Director.
You will report to the Director, Fleet & Equipment, and will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and probability of our Ledcor Technical Services (LTS) Fleet & Equipment operations.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Create user-friendly reporting incorporating visuals, such as graphs and waterfall charting
- Compile monthly management reports on assets, including revenue/expenses and utilization
- Analyze and compile historical equipment rates and provide recommendations to management
- Audit monthly invoices from fleet financing providers, GPS, and fuel
- Reporting on fleet & equipment financing activities and lease portfolio including monthly equipment lease obligation summary presentation to management
- Prepare invoices for the rental of owned equipment to third parties
- Support the equipment related accounting and information needs of the various business units, equipment managers, and Director
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis, modelling, and reporting, as needed to support business decisions
- Provide data and support year-end vehicle taxable benefit analysis (Canada and USA)
- Supports depreciation and lease expense forecasting and budgeting for business units
Qualifications:
- Two years' experience in business analysis, data analysis or a related field
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and perform complex functions within Excel
- Ability to create concise, professional reports
- PowerBI knowledge is an asset
- Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, and ability to quickly learn new software
- Ability to learn and understand software programs and new systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills, combined with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, able to multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines
Work Conditions:
- This is a hybrid position where you will be required to come to the office on a weekly basis
