We are looking for a passionate, organized, and excellence-oriented Assistant New Vehicles Sales Manager to support management in the day-to-day running of the department and the achievement of objectives.

Responsibilities:

Sales leadership and management:

- Greet each customer who visits the showroom.
- Help advisors close deals.
- Support the Sales Manager in planning, executing, and monitoring Subaru sales strategies.
- Ensure rigorous monitoring of key indicators: volume, margin, CSI, inventory turnover, advisor performance.
- Oversee lead management (web, phone, showroom) and optimize the speed and quality of follow-ups.
- Actively participate in management meetings, performance reviews, and strategic decisions.
- Ensure files comply with internal standards and policies.

Team management and development:

- Provide ongoing coaching to advisors to improve their knowledge of Subaru products, customer approach, and sales techniques.
- Participate in the recruitment, integration, and training of new advisors.
- Maintain a positive, collaborative work environment focused on sustainable performance.
- Foster a culture of transparency, integrity, and exemplary customer service.

Inventory management:

- Collaborate on order planning based on Subaru allocations, market trends, and dealership needs.
- Optimize showroom and lot presentation, highlighting the distinctive features of the Subaru lineup.

Customer experience and Subaru compliance:

- Ensure an exceptional customer experience, consistent with the company's values: kindness, commitment, and respect.
- Intervene in sensitive situations or complaints to ensure a quick and professional resolution.
- Ensure compliance with Subaru Canada standards, sales processes, and legal requirements (AMF, OPC, etc.).
- Promote programs (warranties, protections, accessories, after-sales services) in a consistent and responsible manner.

Requirements:

Education and experience:

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in automotive sales, ideally in a recognized brand environment.
- Experience in supervision, coaching, or team management.
- Knowledge of Subaru sales processes or a keen interest in the brand (a major asset).
- Proficiency in CRM and DMS tools and lead management platforms.

Required skills:

- Motivational leadership, ability to inspire and structure a team.
- Excellent communication skills, active listening and management of sensitive situations.
- Strong results-oriented approach, while maintaining a human and respectful approach.
- Administrative rigor, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bilingualism (French/English) according to customer needs.
