Delivery Coordinator

We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic team players to join our Halifax, NS Dealership as Delivery Coordinator. This is a Seasonal Full Time position.

The Delivery Coordinator is responsible for explaining (teaching) and demonstrating all sold units to customers, including all features and standard items.

Job Duties

 

• Adhere to the company Mission, Vision & Values
• Ensures that sold units are ready for delivery (ongoing communication with the service and reconditioning departments)
• Retrieves sold units from the wash bay and places units in the delivery bay for customer presentation
• Demonstrates and delivers all sold units to customers
• Assists in loading the showroom
• Assists in unit placement on lot
• Assists in unit check ins
• Assists in loading bays for the reconditioning department
• Assists the wash bay and reconditioning department
• Any other items, as directed by the Sales Manager

Requirements

 

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in RV sector
• Forklift Experience and license is an asset
• Interest in RVs, and knowledgeable about RV repair and maintenance.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be dependable, reliable, possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Work Conditions

 

• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Shift work required, including evening, weekends and early mornings.
• Overtime may be required.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods and to bending, twist, push, pull and carry equipment and supplies.
• Manual dexterity required to operate cleaning equipment including power washers and hand tools.

Compensation:$19 to $21 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
