Job description:
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electric, hybrid, and combustion engine vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and routine service efficiently and accurately.
• Use OEM diagnostic tools, software, and electrical diagrams to identify problems and guide repairs.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs and ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety.
• Document all work performed in the diagnostics and service management system; communicate results to service advisors and, if necessary, to customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; comply with all safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives; mentor junior technicians as needed.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience as an automotive mechanic technician.
• Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency with diagnostic tools and electrical systems.
• In-depth knowledge of modern vehicle electrical systems.
• Ability to read repair manuals, service bulletins, and electrical diagrams; interpret diagnostic results and translate them into effective repairs.
• Valid driver's license; ability to handle hand and power tools and workshop equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; fluency in French required (English is a plus).
