Job description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with experience working in garage environments preferred. This role involves performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. Candidates should possess excellent mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to interpret schematics. Strong customer service skills are essential to provide a positive experience for our clients. Duties:
- Diagnose and repair various automotive issues using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools;
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements;
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and assembly tasks;
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and vehicle diagnostics to identify problems accurately;
- Assist with the assembly of parts or components as needed;
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency;
- Heavy lifting may be required when handling parts or equipment;
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly.
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs;
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics;
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently;
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques;
- Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes;
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
- Good communication skills for effective customer interactions;
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
