Job description

Within the Wind River Cloud team, we work with large-scale projects including Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack and fast-paced Open-Source technologies that are in high demand from our customers. 

Wind River Cloud has adopted these technologies into the core of our product, which is driving us to find experienced and high-performing individuals that can learn and contribute to these full software stack solutions to fulfill the strict requirements of edge computing use cases from security to high availability. 

The team delivers in the areas of configuration management, fault management and host management.? In addition, Wind River Cloud team is a leading contributor to the Open Source StarlingX cloud native project, to manage and maintain the critical infrastructure for highly distributed Edge solutions, primarily 5G. 

In your daily job you will: 
 

  • Helping to develop and test starlingx for the Wind River Cloud Platform
  • Help with test execution and automation and get a thorough understanding of the product
  • Take the initiative to improve features and processes.
  • Contribute ideas for product improvements and iterations using data-driven insights and AI-based recommendations
  • Collaborate effectively with global software engineering teams.


HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE 

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are: 
 

  • BE/BTech or ME/MTech degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Strong in C, C++, RTOS Fundamentals.
  • Good understanding of automation tools, technology landscape, and OOPS concepts.
  • Good understanding of embedded systems and familiarity in building and developing SW modules
  • Interest or experience with leveraging AI to improve productivity
  • Driver and board-level system software test development and integration.
  • Completed embedded courses from any reputed institutes like Cranes/Vector.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
  • Experience in scripting language e.g., Python
