Multimatic Motorsports is seeking a skilled Autobody Paint Technician to join our high-performance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the meticulous preparation of carbon fibre and fiberglass bodywork and the application of world-class primer and paint finishes on cutting-edge vehicles.

This is a unique opportunity for experienced autobody professionals who are passionate about automobiles and take pride in precision craftsmanship.

What You'll Do
 

  • Prepare carbon fibre and fiberglass composite components for primer and paint applications
  • Apply coatings using a variety of spray techniques and methods
  • Perform detailed spot repairs using airbrush and spray gun techniques
  • Mix, spray, and verify coatings to achieve precise colour matches
  • Execute two- and three-tone graphics across multiple panels
  • Mask and protect areas as required to ensure high-quality finishes
  • Inspect components throughout all stages of processing to ensure quality standards are met
  • Follow detailed work instructions, mix ratios, and quality control procedures
  • Maintain spray booths, shop tools, and equipment in optimal working condition
  • Use advanced body repair materials and techniques specific to composite components
  • Work safely and maintain an organized workspace in compliance with all safety procedures
  • Collaborate within a dynamic team environment, providing and receiving constructive feedback

What You Bring
 

  • Hands-on experience in autobody finishing and repair
  • Proven experience with spot repair and precision colour matching
  • Experience applying multi-tone graphics across various panels
  • Ability to interpret work instructions and follow precise mix ratios
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision
  • Understanding of composite component construction (asset)
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (asset)

This job posting is for an existing vacancy. The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be:

$22.80 - $41.83
