Job description

Job Summary

The Service Advisor is the essential link between customers and the workshop. You welcome clients, understand their needs, open work orders, follow up on repairs, and ensure an exemplary customer service experience from the first contact to the delivery of the vehicle/equipment.

What You Will Do on a Daily Basis:

1) Customer Reception and Service:

- Welcome customers (in person, by phone, and by email) with a high level of customer care.
- Ask the right questions to properly understand the issue (symptoms, operating conditions, history).
- Clearly explain the steps, timelines, and recommendations with professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.

2) Opening and Managing Work Orders:

- Create, complete, and update work orders in SEI (similar to ERA).
- Accurately document customer requests and relevant technical information.
- chedule appointments and coordinate priorities with the workshop.

3) Repair Follow-Up and Communication:

- Proactively follow up on the progress of repairs and update customers at the appropriate time.
- Communicate required information to technicians and respond to internal inquiries.
- Prepare and organize file documentation (emails, notes, communications).

4) Billing and File Closure:

- Validate work orders, parts, and labor before closing the file.
- Review and explain the invoice to the customer and confirm satisfaction before releasing the vehicle/equipment.

Profile Sought kills and Requirements:

- Exceptional customer service: human approach, active listening, respect.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple requests, and remain calm during busy periods.
- Comfortable with computers: SEI (similar to ERA), email, Word.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail: data entry, follow-ups, file management.

Assets:

- Experience with Kubota products (technical advising, parts, workshop, basic diagnostic knowledge).
- Experience in automotive service (Service Advisor/Technical Advisor) accepted.
- General mechanical knowledge and technical vocabulary.

Personal Qualities:

- Solution-oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Clear, structured, and respectful communication.
- Autonomous, reliable, and a strong team player (workshop and other departments).

Working Conditions:

- Status: Full-time, 42 hours/week, permanent position.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday.
- Events/Visits: Occasional.
- Overtime: Possible occasionally, paid according to labor standards.
- Salary: $60,000 per year.
