What You'll Get to Do

The Fleet Manager is focused on scheduling trucks for delivery, overseeing driver performance, and keeping the company in compliance with CVSE/NSC/DOT regulations. This position supervises drivers, DOT-regulated drivers included, manages daily transportation operations, and ensures safe, efficient, and compliant vehicle activities across the organization.

Job responsibilities include:
 

  • Lead driver supervision, scheduling, and day-to-day dispatch to meet delivery commitments.
  • Ensure CVSE/NSC compliance, including HOS/ELD, logs, inspection, and driver qualification files.
  • Monitor and administer fleet telematics to track driver performance and compliance (e.g., speeding, harsh events, following distance); use trend data to coach drivers, document coaching/corrective actions as appropriate, and support continuous improvement in safety and service performance.
  • Coordinate shipping documentation (BOLs, trip records PODs) and resolve deliver expectation (damage, shortages, backorders).
  • Oversee fleet maintenance and vehicle readiness, including inspection and repair scheduling.
  • Manage safety program, including, training, meetings, incident investigations, driver coaching and drug/alcohol testing compliance (where applicable).


What We Are Looking For
 

  • Required: 2+ years managing CVSE/NSC-regulated drivers and transportation scheduling; strong CVSE compliance knowledge.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and independent work capability.
  • Computer proficiency; strong written/verbal communication and professional customer/driver relations; ability to read/use a tape measure.
  • Commitment to maintaining a strong safety work culture / environment.
  • Preferred: Glass industry experience; current Class 1 License preferred.


Position Pay Range

$80,100-$90,000 CAD
