ABOUT THE ROLE 

 

• The Body Shop Appraiser is responsible for preparing collision estimates and determining total servicing needs to correct vehicle problems, including mechanical and cosmetic
• Estimating and documenting all incoming damaged vehicles to capture all visible damages
• Managing collision related communication from customers, insurance companies, sublet vendors and group dealerships
• Coordinating all aspects of the repair process and other responsibilities as needed

ABOUT YOU

 

• Preference will be given to candidates with appraising experience in a body shop or insurance company
• You will be required to have knowledge of mechanical and autobody repair process, estimating, invoicing and paper flow
• Aptitude for providing exceptional customer service
• Interest in career development and learning opportunities including obtaining BMW/MINI and Honda Pro certification
• Excellent attention to detail with strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work with figures and perform mathematical calculations
• Preference for candidates with experience with Mitchell, Audatex and Repair Centre
• Desire to work in a team environment to achieve common goals
• You thrive in an environment that supports collaboration and respect
