Please note this will be a 3 month contract role
The Vendor Master Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of supplier information within the company's financial systems. This role ensures that suppliers are properly onboarded, verified, and maintained according to company and regulatory requirements. The Analyst also supports process improvements, participates in 1099 issuance, and negotiates payment terms and methods with suppliers to optimize efficiency and cash flow
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process supplier onboarding and maintenance requests, ensuring all required documentation (e.g., W-9s, banking information) is complete, accurate, and compliant with internal controls.
- Maintain supplier master data across multiple systems (e.g., Workday, Corpay, OnPay, CCC1, ASE), ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Negotiate and establish charge accounts, appropriate payment terms and payment methods with suppliers to support company objectives and improve cash flow.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve issues related to supplier setup, payment terms, tax information, or other data discrepancies
- Support the preparation and issuance of annual 1099 tax forms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IRS regulations.
- Identify and analyze data issues, trends, or process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance data quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in supplier maintenance, accounts payable, or vendor master data management.
