Fleet Coordinator (Full Time) - Brampton, ON 

This is a new position with a starting annual salary of $70,000.00 

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Responsible for the operating, troubleshooting and procuring hardware for onboard technology. (Lytx, Trimble, People Science, Accustar)
  • Administer fleet documentation, fleet plate and registration renewals and lease document preparation.
  • Support in preparing and executing fleet replacement strategy for light duty, material handling equipment, medium and heavy-duty equipment.
  • Assist with OEMs on the acquisition of transportation equipment.
  • Collaborate and communicate with suppliers and local operation on equipment spec.
  • Work with multiple suppliers on upfits and transportation equipment upgrades.
  • Manage fleet database.
  • Assist in managing capital expenditures and budget allocation.
  • Support in the preparation of monthly MBR meetings.


Qualifications:
Qualifications: 
Education

  • Trade School or Certificate in auto OR truck mechanics /Diploma in Procurement/ Buying / Business Administration or similar

Experience

  • Technical knowledge of distribution and transportation equipment
  • Experience with data management and some level of programming

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Commitment to safety, health, environment, and quality principles
  • Able to work with multiple teams across the country and with large number of suppliers
  • Experience and high level of organization and strong attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency and commitment with due dates
  • Intermediate skill with MS Office, mainly Excel
  • Previous experience with JDE and EAM considered an asset
  • Productivity oriented
  • Availability for travel when required
