Shop Dispatcher

Saint-Laurent Hyundai is looking for an organized, dynamic, and thorough Shop Dispatcher to join its service team. This position is essential to the smooth running of the workshop, as it ensures efficient work distribution and optimal coordination between technicians, technical advisors, and service management.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and distribute work orders to technicians based on their skills and workload.
- Track repairs and optimize vehicle flow in the workshop.
- Prioritize work according to appointments, emergencies, and established deadlines;
- Work closely with technical advisors to meet delivery deadlines;
- Ensure the efficiency and productivity of the workshop;
- Ensure clear communication between the technical team and the service team;
- Identify support or resource needs to avoid delays;
- Help maintain a structured and efficient work environment.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of workshop work processes.

Required profile

- Relevant experience in a similar position at a car dealership (Dispatcher, Team Leader, Service Advisor, etc.).
- Good knowledge of automotive mechanics and workshop operations.
- Excellent organizational and priority management skills;
- Natural leadership and good team spirit;
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once;
- Professional communication skills;
- Good command of computer tools and software related to the service;
- Experience in a Hyundai dealership or knowledge of Hyundai products (a significant asset).
