The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Production Control Analyst to join our dynamic automotive team. This position will play a key role in defining, deploying and scaling autonomous mobile robots (AMR) within Oakville Assembly Complex. This role will work cross functionally within the Material Planning and Logistics (MP&L) department to support the modernization of in-plant logistics, increase safety, improve quality and enable Best-in-World manufacturing performance. Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Manage / Monitor AMR fleet management system.
- Troubleshoot system communication issues.
- Investigate operational improvements with new Technology.
- Research, develop, implement new technology in AMR realm to optimize material flow.
- Work with SMART SMF Coordinator to ensure proper system setup.
- Audit AMR performance.
- Work in conjunction with IT to help ensure communication on shop floor between various technologies is fluent through Ford Systems.
- Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance AMR throughput, uptime, fleet behavior, and system robustness.
Qualifications
You'll have...
- Bachelors degree in engineering technology, mechatronics, computer science, or a related field
- 2 years of experience working in automation or robotics systems in a manufacturing environment
- 2 years of experience with PLC controls, industrial robotics, AMR/AGV platforms or virtual commissioning tools.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, mechatronics, computer science, or a related field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory standards related to AMR/AGV technologies
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
This posting is for an existing vacancy within our team.
The expected annual salary range for this position is $85,000- $135,000 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our Annual Compensation bonus program.
