Mechanic

Tasks:

    • Perform vehicle service or repairs in a professional manner;
    • Perform repair diagnostics;
    • Complete repair estimates;
    • Adjust, repair, or replace using hand tools or other general special equipment.

Vehicle repair tasks:

    • Defective parts or components in various vehicle systems, such as fuel supply systems, braking systems, steering and suspension mechanisms, engines and powertrains, exhaust and emission control systems, air conditioning and cabin temperature control systems, and electrical and electronic systems;
    • Complete the quality control inspection form if attached to the repair order;
    • Document services and repairs performed;
    • Perform a test drive before and after the repair;
    • Consult all applicable service bulletins.

Requirements:

    • Experience required;
    • Maintain a clean appearance and impeccable personal hygiene;
    • Wear a uniform prescribed by service management;
    • Report to work, take breaks, and leave work at the specified times;
    • Use a daily time card, as directed;
    • Report to management any situation or condition that compromises the safety, well-being, or integrity of the establishment.
