Job description
Rocheleau Chevrolet Buick GMC is looking for an Automotive Diagnostic Technician who is passionate about technology and problem solving.
Main responsibilities:
- Perform electronic, mechanical, and electrical diagnostics on vehicles;
- Use diagnostic tools and specialized software;
- Identify the causes of malfunctions and propose effective solutions;
- Collaborate with technical advisors and the service team;
- Perform the necessary repairs or guide the team based on the diagnoses made;
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer and safety standards;
- Document the interventions and diagnoses performed;
- Keep technical knowledge up to date.
Required profile:
- Experience in automotive diagnostics, mandatory;
- Excellent understanding of electronic and computerized systems;
- Analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Independence, thoroughness, and team spirit;
- Valid driver's licence;
- Experience in a dealership is an asset.
