Job description

Job offer – Hybrid Service Advisor.

Lallier Kia de Laval is currently looking for a Hybrid Service Advisor to fill a new key position within its service department.

This role combines customer service at the service counter with coordinating the aesthetic and mechanical preparation of pre-owned vehicles until their final delivery.

Job objective:

In collaboration with the internal Service Advisor and customer Service Advisors, the Hybrid Service Advisor acts as a central point of contact between customers, the mechanical workshop, the sales department, and subcontractors. He or she ensures that vehicles—internal, customer, and used—are repaired, prepared, and delivered according to dealership standards, within the prescribed time frame, and with clear communication at every stage.

Main responsibilities:

Mechanic service – customer relations:

    • Greet customers at the mechanical service counter;
    • Open, manage, and close work orders (customer and internal);
    • Respond to requests related to repairs, maintenance, diagnostics, and warranties;
    • Prepare, explain, and obtain approval for repair and maintenance estimates;
    • Ensure rigorous customer follow-up (work authorization, deadlines, satisfaction);
    • Coordinate work with mechanic Technicians;
    • Track parts orders, warranties, and supplier claims.

Pre-owned vehicles coordination:

    • Monitor the cosmetic and mechanical preparation stages of pre-owned vehicles;
    • Coordinate deadlines to meet scheduled delivery dates;
    • Ensure that all requested work is completed according to standards;
    • Assign work to technicians to optimize deadlines;
    • Manage subcontracting requests (tinted windows, Protex, etc.);
    • Track subcontractor invoices and close work orders according to standards;
    • Maintain effective communication with the sales department;
    • Respond to manufacturers' requirements and requests (e.g., vehicle preparation);
    • Perform any other related tasks as required by management.

Required profile:

    • Excellent customer service and communication skills;
    • Strong organizational and priority management skills;
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple files simultaneously;
    • Knowledge of the automotive industry (a significant asset);
    • Team spirit, autonomy, and attention to detail;
    • Comfortable with computer tools and work order management systems.
