Our rapidly expanding group, GENX Groupe Automobile, in business for over 36 years, is looking for an Assistant Controller with solid experience in the automotive industry for its new Ford dealership located in Montreal East.

Main duties related to the position:

The Assistant Controller will work closely with the Controller. They will be a reliable resource for clerks, provide support to the administrative team, and ensure smooth and effective communication with the manufacturer.

Tasks:

- Complete accounts payable and receivable cycle;
- Account analysis;
- Daily deposits;
- Accounting for sales and trade-in records;
- Vehicle storage;
- Bank reconciliation and floorplan;
- Payment and financing of new vehicles.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive industry;
- Knowledge of automotive accounting software.
