PDI Technician

Location: Airdrie, Alberta
Employment Type: Full Time Seasonal
Period: May to September 2026

Looking for hands on work with Canada's largest RV dealer? Interested in building or advancing your technical skills in a fast paced, team oriented environment?

We are hiring a Full Time Seasonal PDI Technician for our Airdrie, AB dealership for the May to September 2026 season. This role is critical to ensuring our service and rental RVs are inspected, prepared, and ready for customers before they head out on the road.

Hours and days of work are based on business levels. The dealership operates Monday to Saturday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and availability during scheduled shifts is required.

What You Will Be Doing

 

  • Perform Pre Delivery Inspections on rental and sales RV units
  • Complete minor repairs including appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and basic maintenance such as oil changes
  • Review and complete vehicle work orders accurately
  • Identify and communicate major repair needs to the Service Department
  • Stock RVs with required rental equipment
  • Assist the Fleet Coordinator to ensure smooth and timely vehicle turnaround
  • Top up vehicle fluids and prepare units for customer use
  • Transfer vehicles between dealerships, storage locations, and external repair facilities
  • Winterize and de winterize RVs as required
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Rentals Manager


What Makes You a Strong Fit

 

  • Experience with RV or trailer repairs is an asset
  • Background in plumbing, carpentry, or electrical work automotive or industrial
  • General mechanical or home renovation skills
  • Level 1 RV Certificate is an asset but not required
  • Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work rotating Saturdays and peak season schedules
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license required
  • Comfortable driving vehicles up to 30 feet in length
  • Willingness to work weekends and overtime during peak season
