- Conduct Mechanical design work including preparing drawings and calculations.
- Create Computer Aided Design (CAD) models of designs using Autodesk Inventor.
- Work with customers to complete fleet alteration requests.
- Help in diagnosing equipment issues and provide recommendations for the necessary repairs.
- Support customer focus initiatives with data analysis and customer support.
- Help identify opportunities to better serve internal business units.
- Create engineering documentation supporting project and design work.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical Engineering.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
- Advanced proficiency in producing 3D CAD drawings and preparing specifications is also required.
- A valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalent) with no more than six demerits and no
- Previous work experience as a mechanical engineering intern in an industrial setting will be considered an asset.
- The ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2026.
