Job description

Stellantis is hiring a Human Resources Generalist to join the HR Labour Economics team. This position will be based out of the Corporate Canada Headquarters location. This position supports all FCA Canada locations in the administration of various negotiated and legislated programs including the Supplemental Unemployment Benefits Plan, Income Maintenance Plan, Unifor Legal Services Plan, WSIB premium reporting, and other employee benefits, to all unionized and non-unionized employee groups. The position offers excellent exposure and growth opportunity within the larger FCA Canada HR Organization.

Responsibilities Include:
 

  • Work closely with timekeeping and payroll to ensure accuracy and timeliness of employee payments
  • Administration of employee pay, benefit, and income security programs in accordance with various collective bargaining agreements and legislative requirements
  • Liaise with union benefit representatives on employee pay or benefits concerns
  • Provide data analytics, cost forecasts, and support with labour economics studies
  • Report insurable earnings to WSIB and process premium payments
  • Continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs and increase efficiencies
  • Support National and Local Bargaining
  • Regular cross-functional project support with the broader HR team in Healthcare, HR analytics, labour relations, retirement & savings

Position Requirements:
 

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Human Resources, Business, or Finance
  • Minimum 18 months post graduate experience in Human Resources or Finance field
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational, attention to detail, and record keeping skills
  • Excellent communication, team building and relationship building
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong interest in expanding your career and growing as a Human Resources professional
  • Interest working in an automotive manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations including: Ontario Human Rights Code, Employment Standards Act, Labour Relations Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Prior Human Resources or labour relations experience working in a unionized environment
